Artificer

Founded in 2014, Artificer is an embodiment going back to the roots of traditionalism of the Arts & Crafts - this unique venture houses studios where WarpWeftWeave studio and Lyon Art Studio  is located. This is where fine art and tweed combine. First and foremost, we are "Working Studios" which you can visit and browse. As a unique feature, we are a little bit "quirky" - intermingled between the looms you can purchase wonderful paintings, tweeds and Blairgowrie's own 'Berries & Cherries Tartan'. This is also where you'll find the emerging artisans and artists on display, having a selection of gifts, bags, accessories, and ceramics etc. We also offer tuition and one-to-one classes all year round. Don't be afraid to come into the studios - we are open to the public. We might look busy, with yarn or paint brush in hand, but we are never too busy to stop and talk to our customers and explain this unique venture and share our passion for the arts and crafts. We are also dog friendly, and sometimes you'll see the manager Coco, a shy but loving springer spaniel in residence!

We are just one of Blairgowrie's many thriving craft shops - we just look different.
